Dr Abbas Saeed Hakeem has over twenty (20) years research experience, and he was in-charge of various laboratories (Labs) at Stockholm University, Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, Leeds University, UK (QS Ranked = 93) and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (QS Ranked = 189) and due course of the mentioned (1999-2020) period. He has completed several multimillion Riyals projects as PI (Principal Investigator) as a Co-I (Co-Investigator) as well as many other client funded projects along with collaboration with multinational oil and gas companies including Saudi Aramco, Yokogawa, Halliburton, Baker Hughes.
He is the author of over 100 publications in ISI (Institute for Scientific Information) journals and 35 conference proceedings (excluding invited speaker at conference proceedings, workshops and seminars) and member of Engineering Council and various other international societies (ASME, ASM and IOM3). On the applied side, he is also the inventor of International Patents, which have been instrumental in building several industrial collaborations and facilitating step changes and process improvements in at least five industrial processes and additional eight patent(s) have been filled for registration.
