Abstract
Görsel sanat eserlerinin içine giren resim, mimari ve heykel farklı alanlar olarak görülse de, ortak noktaları sanattır. İki boyutlu resimler de, 3 boyutlu mimari ve heykeller de bir sanat eseridir. Bir yapının sanatsal değeri yoksa mimari değeri de yoktur. Resimle mimarlık arasında kurulan bağ, yaratıcılığı artırmada ve yeni ürünler oluşturma da tasarımcılara yardımcı olabilir. Resimle tasarım arasında bir ilişki kurulabilir, hatta birlik oluşturabilir.
Bir mekânı tasarlarken, tasarımın çıkış noktası olarak bir sanat eserini ele alabilmek, soyut resmin üzerinde bulunan nokta, çizgi, düzlem ve geometrik şekilleri kütle olarak üçüncü boyuta aktarıldığında, sanata dokunabilmek, algılayabilmek ve sanatın içinde sanatı yaşatabilmektir.

Abstract
Even if paintings, architecture and sculpture enter into the visual arts can be considered different areas, art is common.
Two- dimensional images, three dimensional architecture and sculpture are also a work of art. If a building has
not an artistic value, there is no architectural value. Connections established between architecture and painting can
assist the designers in creating new products and boost creativity. It can even create unity by establishing a relationship
between design and painting.
Being able to handle an artwork as a start point of a design when design when designing a place means that being
able to touch an art, perceive it and being able to foster the arts in art when transferring o point, the line, the plane
and geometric shapes like a mass to the third dimension.
