Tiroid Nodülü

Öz

Tiroid nodülü foliküler hücrelerden köken alan ve radyolojik olarak tiroid parankiminden ayırt edilen lezyonlara karşılık gelmektedir. Kadınlarda daha sık görülmekte ve sıklığı yaşla birlikte artmaktadır. Yapılan USG taramalarında %20-67 tiroidde nodül saptanmaktadır. Tiroid nodüllerinin %7-15’inden karsinom gelişmektedir. Tiroid nodülü saptanan hastalardan TSH görülmeli ve Tiroid USG istenmelidir. Tiroid USG özelliklerine göre de hastalardan İİAB istenmelidir. Tiroid İİAB sonuçları Bethesda sınıflamasına göre değerlendirilmektedir. İİAB sonuçları, hastanın klinik özellikleri, USG bulguları ve moloküler testlere göre nodüle yönelik tedavi planlanmaktadır. Bu yazıda güncel literatür eşliğinde tiroid nodülüne yaklaşım ele alınmıştır.
