Biomaterials researcher, Ph.D. in Materials Science at Lancaster University, UK
My Ph.D. is on developing smart in-situ formed chitosan-based injectable hydrogels which can be monitored by means of minimal invasive surgical procedures.
The main aim to promote angiogenesis at bone defects via bioactive material features, this is required for a successful vascular bone regeneration process.
My interests involve the investigation of diverse bioceramics including hydroxyapatite and bioglasses as part of inorganic bone matrix of biomaterials.
