DETERMINATION OF PRODUCTION LOSSES AT UNLICENSED SOLAR PLANTS IN TURKEY
Abstract
As a result of the measures taken to reduce greenhouse gases in electrical energy production in the world, the installation of renewable energy plants is increasing. There has been a great increase in the installation of solar power plants in Turkey in recent years. However, any regulations for unlicensed electricity generation have been done until now. In this study, generation losses due to grid connection regulation in one year in our country were calculated. Real radiation data and technical losses are used for power calculations. In order to find the technical losses correctly, the values calculated by different methods for the estimation of the module temperature were compared with the real data. After real calculations of all losses, the hourly energy produced in all solar power plants was calculated. After these calculations, the electrical energy that cannot be produced in a year in Turkey has been found.
