MODELING OF RADIATION PERMEABILITY IN BARITE ADDITIVE CONCRETES USING REGRESSION ANALYSIS
Abstract
In this study, DataFit 9.0 software was used to determine the relationship between the barite ratio, temperature, compressive strength, dry unit weight, and saturated unit weight parameters in the content of concrete samples and radiation permeability. Numerical modeling was performed as a result of experimental data belonging to different parameters. DataFit allows various mathematical functions to produce the most appropriate model from the data in different parameters obtained from the experimental results. In the study, the equation providing the most appropriate correlation between the parameters was obtained by regression analysis. In addition, the statistical reliability and validity of the created model were evaluated using the R² (Coefficient of Multiple Determination) value provided by the software and other statistical parameters. In this way, the effects of the parameters in the concrete samples on radiation permeability were made predictable with a mathematically verified model. In the study, 6 models were produced for 6 different situations. The highest R² value in the created models was observed to be 0.99.
