Öz

Otomotiv sektörü, fosil yakıt rezervlerinin azalmaya başlamasıyla birlikte içten yanmalı motorlar yerine elektrik motorlu araçlara yönelmiştir. Elektrikli araçların (EA) yaygınlaşması, şebekeden çekilen elektrik enerjisinde artışa neden olmuştur. Bu nedenle, EA bataryalarında depolanan enerjinin ihtiyaç durumunda tekrar elektrik şebekesine aktarılması amacıyla, çift yönlü enerji akışını destekleyen inverter sistemleri önemli hale gelmiştir. Bu çalışmada, elektrikli araçlardan şebekeye enerji aktarımını sağlayan (Vehicle-to-Grid, V2G) bir sistem tasarlanmış; bu amaçla Packed-U Cell (PUC) topolojisine sahip, batarya ile bütünleşik bir inverter geliştirilmiştir. 400V doğru akım (DA) gerilim değerine sahip EA bataryalarının, 230V_rms alternatif akım (AA) şebeke gerilim seviyesine dönüştürülmesini sağlayacak şekilde yapılandırılmıştır. Şebeke geriliminin elde edilebilmesi için batarya ile PUC inverter devresi arasında DA-DA düşürücü (Buck) dönüştürücü devresi kullanılmış olup inverter aşamasında ise PUC topolojisi uygulanmıştır. Devrede, yüksek frekansta anahtarlama yapabilen MOSFET transistörler kullanılmış; PI (Oransal-İntegral) kontrol algoritması ve PWM (Sinyal Genişlik Modülasyonu) yöntemiyle kontrol sağlanmıştır. Tasarlanan sistem Matlab/Simulink ortamında modellenmiş ve çeşitli yük koşullarında performans analizleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Simülasyon sonuçları, PUC topolojisine sahip inverterin V2G uygulamaları için uygun, verimli ve şebekeye entegre edilebilir bir alternatif olduğunu göstermektedir.

Abstract

With the gradual depletion of fossil fuel reserves, the automotive industry has shifted from internal combustion engine vehicles to electric motor-driven vehicles. The increasing prevalence of electric vehicles (EVs) has led to a rise in the amount of electrical energy drawn from the power grid. As a result, inverter systems that support bidirectional energy flow have become important for transferring the energy stored in EV batteries back to the grid when needed. In this study, a Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) system has been designed to enable energy transfer from electric vehicles to the grid. For this purpose, a battery-integrated inverter based on the Packed-U Cell (PUC) topology has been developed. The system is configured to convert the 400V direct current (DC) output of EV batteries into the 230V_rms alternating current (AC) level required by the power grid. To achieve this, a DC-DC buck converter has been employed between the battery and the PUC inverter circuit, while the PUC topology has been used in the inverter stage. High-frequency switching MOSFET transistors have been used in the circuit, and control has been implemented through a Proportional-Integral (PI) control algorithm combined with Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technique. The designed system has been modeled in the Matlab/Simulink environment, and performance analyses have been conducted under various load conditions. Simulation results indicate that the PUC topology-based inverter is a suitable, efficient, and grid-integrable alternative for V2G applications
