Abstract

Üretim sistemlerinde belirli bir oranda kusurlu ürün üretilmesi ile ilgili çalışmalar literatürde önemli ve geniş bir yere sahiptir. Bu çalışmalardaki temel varsayımlar; belirli bir oranda kusurlu üretimin varlığı, kusurlu üretim oranının belirli bir olasılık dağılımına göre dağılması, kusurlu ürünlerin kendi içinde hurda, tamir edilebilir ve defolu olarak sınıflandırılması şeklinde gerçek durumları yansıtmaktadır. Bu çalışmada kusurlu ürünler için stoksuzluğa izin veren bir Ekonomik Üretim Miktarı modeli önerilmektedir. Önerilen modelde inceleme hızının üretim hızından düşük olduğu, normal inceleme faaliyetinin üretim bittikten sonra yapıldığı varsayımı yapılmaktadır. Geliştirilen modelin matematiksel denklemleri elde edilmekte, modelin çalışması ve duyarlılık analizleri sayısal örnekle açıklanmaktadır. Modelde kusurlu ürünler için birim stok maliyeti, stoksuzluk maliyeti ve kusurlu ürün oranı arttıkça birim zamandaki beklenen toplam maliyet artmakta, optimal üretim miktarı ile izin verilen stoksuzluk miktarı azalmaktadır. Diğer taraftan üretime hazırlık maliyeti arttıkça, birim zamandaki beklenen toplam maliyet, optimal üretim miktarı ve izin verilen stoksuzluk miktarı artmaktadır.

Abstract

Studies on the production of a certain percentage of defective products in production systems have a significant and extensive presence in literature. The fundamental assumptions in these studies are the existence of a certain percentage of defective production, the distribution of the defective production rate according to a specific probability distribution, and the classification of defective products as scrap, repairable, or defective, which reflect very real situations. This study proposes an Economic Production Quantity model that allows shortages and backorders for defective products. The proposed model assumes that the inspection speed is lower than the production speed, and that normal inspection activities are conducted after production is completed. The mathematical equations of model are derived, and the model's operation and sensitivity analyses are illustrated with numerical examples. In the model, as the unit inventory cost, backorder cost and defective product rate increases, the expected total cost per unit time increases, while the optimal production quantity and allowable backorder level decreases. On the other hand, as production setup costs increase, the expected total cost per unit time, the optimal production rate, and allowable backorder level increase.
