 KSU Journal of Engineering Sciences (KSU JES) is an international platform dedicated to publishing high-quality, original, and peer-reviewed research articles across all disciplines of engineering. 

The journal aims to contribute to the scientific community by presenting theoretical and applied studies that offer innovative solutions to engineering problems.

Addressing a broad audience of researchers, engineers, and academics, the journal is published four times a year (March, June, September, and December) under a Platinum Open Access model. 

Since 2017, it has maintained this quarterly publication schedule. KSU JES accepts submissions in both Turkish and English.

Price Policy:

• Article Processing Charge (APC): KSU JES is a diamond open-access journal. It does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, processing, or publication. All services are provided free of charge to authors.
• Access Policy: KSU JES provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. There are no subscription fees, registration requirements, or pay-per-view charges to access the full text of all published articles.

Peer Review Process: The evaluation process in KSÜ Journal of Engineering Sciences is carried out according to the double blinding method. In the double-blind method, information about the authors and referees of the studies is hidden. Editors; are responsible for implementing the "Blind Review and Evaluation Process" policies included in the journal's publication policies. In this context, editors ensure that the evaluation process of each work is completed in a fair, impartial and timely manner.

History and Evolution: Originally established in 1997 as the KSU Journal of Science and Engineering, the journal has maintained a continuous peer-reviewed publication record (except for 1999). In 2009, reflecting international standards and a commitment to specialization, the journal underwent a significant restructuring of its format, vision, and mission. Consequently, it was divided into two separate electronic journals: KSU Journal of Agriculture and Nature and KSU Journal of Engineering Sciences. Since 2017, the journal has been published regularly four times a year (March, June, September, and December)

Since 2013, the journal has been managed through DergiPark, a centralized national journal management system developed by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM. In 2017-2018, this infrastructure was fully integrated with international publishing standards and protocols. Currently, KSU JES continues to utilize this platform to manage the entire editorial workflow, from submission and double-blind peer review to final publication and archiving.
